Swimming!

We went swimming for the first time tonight!! It was interesting...Cailin wasn't so sure about it. First she went with Leon - she was okay, then started crying. Then we got in together with her and started moving her around the pool. She didn't seem to mind it, but we don't think she loved it, she was in the water for about 15 minutes. We will keep working on it! I think it did poop her out, she went down at 8:00 tonight!!

We are looking forward to a new week!
On the to do list: buy a vacuum, get Murphy a haircut, take Cailin to her 4 month appointment, look at houses and hopefully get a car!

Cailin Pictures!

18 weeks
14 weeks
10 weeks
6 weeks
2 weeks

Ahh, how Cailin has grown!! I have tried to get a picture of her in the same pose every four weeks.
Kinda funny story today....I asked Leon to drop the car off for me to use today, do you think I have had a chance to pry Cailin and I out of this apartment!!
I did prop her in her little baby carrier and we went down to our storage unit and let Murphy out...otherwise she has been little Miss Sleepy!! She must really be working on growing!! Also, of course I could have put her in her car seat and ran errands at noon, but Days of our Lives was on! hee, hee!!!
Ha! Murphy is sleeping and he must be running in his dream! :) Well, better wake up this little peanut -- she's been down since noon!

MUCH to share!!

The Costello's have been busy, busy!
Thursday: Cheered on the Panthers as they beat Kansas in the MBB NCAA tournament.
Friday: Leon took Cailin, Murphy and I to Sioux Falls - where my mom picked us up. Then Leon went with the SDSU Women's team to their NCAA tournament game in Norman, OK.
Saturday: We stayed with mom in Akron.
Sunday: We (the three of us (plus Murphy)) drove over to Dean and Donna's in Fairbank!
Sunday night: SDSU Women played Oklahoma -- they stuck in there only loosing by 11. Leon ended up getting back to Brookings at 5:30 am Monday morning.
Monday: Grandma Donna watched Cailin and Murphy while my mom and I cleaned our house in Cedar Falls! NOT FUN cleaning for someone else to move in.
Monday night: I met the girls for supper! Oh how I miss everyone.....its so fun getting together and chatting!! Such great friends!
Tuesday morning: We closed on the house. Everything went well. Except that I forgot the garage door openers and a key in Brookings -- Leon had to mail them to Cedar Falls! Oops!!
Tuesday afternoon: We headed back to Akron.
Tuesday night: Cailin and I went to see her Great-Grandma Johnson. My Grandma is 90 and still living on the farm she raised my dad. She had a squirrel get in her sewer and had to drill up part of her basement...then on the other side of the basement, where my Grandpa kept 96 clocks, she had water spraying from a copper pipe!! Grandma and I moved the clocks and I shop vac'd about 3 gallons of water. Not fun! Hopefully someday she will agree to move into a smaller place in town!!
Wednesday afternoon: I went back out to to Grandmas.
Wednesday night: I was ready to meet Leon in Sioux Falls again. I was pretty excited for Cailin, Murphy and I to be back in the apartment!
Cailin slept for 10 1/2 hours last night and took a couple naps today (one from noon - 3 pm)!! I think her Grandma's pooped her out!! They were really good at making Cailin laugh! I wish I would have taken some pictures of our trip...of course I totally dropped the ball on that!
Tomorrow night we will be cheering on the Panthers! Then Saturday we are heading to look for a car! We do NOT like car shopping, but hopefully we can find something. Wednesday night we are going to look at some more houses.
I can't wait to hear from my sister, who has been in Jamaica for 10 days!!
Hope everyone is enjoying their Spring!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! AND 4 Months old!!!!

Much to celebrate today! Today Cailin is 4 months old! AND its St. Patrick's Day! Leon's Dad's side is fully Irish! Costello is Irish. Actually that's why Cailin is spelled the way it is....its the Gaelic spelling meaning: girl, lass. I don't pretend to know a lot about Ireland. Hopefully some day we will be fortunate enough to visit! Have to admit we are listening to the "Sounds of the Season" music channel on TV. Cailin is singing a long to "Ballyheigue"!? Our family Irish expert, Leon's Aunt Rosemary, sent Cailin a package for her first St. Patrick's Day......she loves her little leprechaun! (Her shirt in the picture above says Daddy's Lucky Charm) hee hee

The sun is shining here....which is a welcome change! Might even get out for a walk this afternoon! Murphy could use some exercise, oh and I could too!
Our thoughts are with the Coffin family! We hope Kevin has a speedy recovery!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

"Hi" from Miss Cailin!

Checking out her 'Kaufman feet'!
Getting ready for St. Patty's Day!
Helping us pack!
Cailin and her 'boyfriend' Harrison Schultz!
Since I had the camera out, Cailin decided she wanted to say "Hi"!

She has been talking a lot more lately...probably feels she needs to in order to get the attention she is used to getting! She usually isn't naked, but she decided to go potty while I was changing a poopy diaper!!

FAST Tour!

MOVED!!

We have officially moved! South Dakota has welcomed us with fog, sleet, snow, rain, and chilly temps - the people here are much nicer then the weather!
Moving was a tad stressful - going from our house to our new apartment! It was difficult finding the correct places for everything, but we got it figured out. I think it was even more stressful knowing we will only be in the apt temporarily. We have underground parking and they let us rent a large storage room in the corner of the parking garage. Leon has made a million trips down there! At least its pretty close and inside!! The apartment is brand-new, so that is really nice. In the complex they have a swimming pool, fitness center and community room! I will need to hit the fitness center BEFORE the pool!! :)
We are still looking for houses! Brookings has a TON of split foyers - due to a high water table. We are looking at new construction, as that is primarily what is available here.
I am trying to download a video of the apartment, but its not working....stay tuned.....
Leon starts work on Monday. Monday night they are having a selection show party for their Women's Basketball team.

That's all for now!
