I have actually been really good (for me) at updating our blog!!  But I haven't included many videos, so here's two of Cailin showing off her tricks!

Cailin likes to 'dance'.  I have to use the ' ' around dance, because I'm not quite sure this is actually dancing, but I am being the encouraging parent!  ;)

She wouldn't let me be on the other side of the camera,so thus the 'self portait' type of video!

It got cut off, but after the panting like a dog, I asked Cailin what we say to Murphy, she says, "No, No"!!  It's just too cute!  :)

This is a OLD picture of Me, Grandpa Johnson and Nicole!  I bet it is at least 12 years old.  Grandpa was the BEST grandpa around!  So funny and sincere!

Now this picture is at least 15 years old...Dad and me.  Dad passed away in 1999. 
I think you can see where Cailin gets her dimples!



We love SUMMER!!

What a fun summer we are having!!  Well, I use the word 'Summer' loosely, due to the fact that there's been more chilly/rainy days than hot/sticky!

I don't remember where we were going, but isn't this Puma outfit adorable!  ;)  It was a gift from the Coulter's when Cailin was born, I remember thinking how big it was....not any more! 

Henry (or ENrie as Cailin would say it) came over to play!  They are quite the chefs!  I like how her blanket in is both of these pictures.  She doesn't get too far away from her blanket...

This weekend we went to my Mom's on Friday night.  It was a quick visit, as we left on Saturday afternoon.  Cailin always has fun discovering all of the things at Grandma's house!  Grandma even printed off some Elmo pictures for her to color!

This was take 430...but I finally got a picture!  She's pretty fast these days!!!

Grandma and Cailin!  It is very important that all of the animals get in the arch and the lid NEEDS to be able to be closed all the way!  These are the simple rules of playing with Cailin!  The girl knows what she wants, good thing Grandma was there to help out.

At the Pizza Ranch!  My Grandma Johnson (left) and her sister-in-law Leone.  Grandma Johnson is going to be 92 in August!  My Uncle was in town, they went that morning to get Grandma a new riding lawn mower, because she just HAS to mow her grass on the farm she is still living at.  She gets around pretty good especially for 92.  I hope when I am 92 that I have people taking care of me!!  I think I will deserve it by then!  ;)

Oh, look, what a well behaved little girl!  In all honesty, I caught her in a good moment!  :)

This is pretty good to get Murphy and Cailin in a picture together....so serious, it's like a portrait!

I tried to get Cailin's 18 month pictures taken on Saturday.  It didn't work out so well!  She had a huge meltdown at the studio!  I think it was partly because it was snack time.....don't mess with snack time!  And that the photographer and helper were men.  This little girl is a little weary of the opposite sex!  Which is fine with her Daddy!  We are going to try again next weekend.  During her meltdown, Leon called.  He had just gotten back from being in Orlando for a conference since Wednesday.  Apparently, I had locked him out of the house!  Welcome home!  oops!  Luckily, the weather was beautiful because when I pulled up to the house 50 minutes after he called, he was sitting on the porch - next to his luggage!  ugh, COSTELLO CHAOS!  :)

Fun Weekend!!!

This is the first weekend in awhile that we have been home!  Leon had a athletic reception for work, so Cailin and I stayed home and our neighbor Henry (21 months) came over for some fun while his parents where busy!!  Yea! I don't know what I was thinking, but I didn't get any pictures.

Saturday was a gorgeous day!  The sun was out, no clouds in the sky AND my Mom and Aunt Sharon came up for the day!  We had a great time visiting in the kitchen, on the deck and at supper.  We also walked through Lowes - looking for some plants for our landscaping. I can't get the picture from my phone right now, but I took a picture of Cailin helping Sharon and Mom push the shopping cart.....Sharon said, "Cailin, you are never too young to learn how to push a shopping cart!"  :)

Our neighbors also came over for supper.....I snapped some pictures on Henry and Cailin this time!

It took awhile to get Cailin in the pool, she just isn't quite sure about water outside of a bathtub!  Henry though was all about it!

He just didn't understand why she wasn't getting wet, so he helped her out with it!  :)



Please note the number of toys and cups...these two are NOT going to win any awards on sharing!

Sunday Leon and I spent the afternoon, getting sun and digging holes for the 15 plant to start our landscaping.  Here are some pictures, we have more to do, but it's a start!!!
