Visitors!!

We had a great time with our visitors over Labor Day weekend!! Leon's sister, Lisa and her boyfriend, Jon brought Kennedy and Grant with them! Lisa didn't tell the kids where they were going until she picked Kennedy up from school on Friday. They pulled in our driveway and said 'you live a long way away'!
They both love playing with Murphy. Murphy LOVES Kennedy and has a little bit of a love/hate relationship with Grant!
On Saturday we went to the Sioux Falls to the Zoo and to the Falls. We had GREAT weather! The kids had so much fun at the Zoo, Grant talked about it the whole weekend. This was Cailin's 3rd Zoo of the summer! :) She's an old pro! Mom and her friend, Jan met us at the Falls - where, of course, we had ice cream! YUMMY!!











On Sunday we lounged around for awhile, then Leon surprised the kids and took them to the horse barn on the SDSU campus. Kennedy has loved horses since I have known her!

After the horses we went to the park!!

"Leon", Grant says, "Don't scare me 'k', no 'roar'" Heather says, "Grant smile". CLICK. Grant says, "Leon, really don't scare me 'k'!!" He doesn't miss a beat!!!

Everyone left Monday morning. It was strangly quite after they left. Later Monday night, Myles, Leon's brother came to Brookings! He had vacation at work, so he stayed until this morning. I don't have any pictures of him. Cailin cried when she first saw them, then couldn't get enough of him. He would go to the basement and she would sit at the top of the steps crying! And Murphy, well, if you don't know about Murphy and Myles' relationship - well, it's probably better! ;)
